We deal in exotic and collector automobiles from Rancho Santa Fe, California. A short list, carefully assembled, sold the way we would want to buy them.
Who We Are
We don't have
customers.
Mashti Motors was founded by Jacob and Tyler, and is backed by Bridgewest Group. We built it around a single conviction: that ownership, the connection between a person and a car, is the entire point.
Take that away and what is left is a machine with no drive. A car sitting in a collection that means nothing to its owner is an asset. The same car in the hands of someone who understands exactly what it is becomes something else altogether.
So our work is to close that distance. We find significant automobiles and place them with the people who will carry their provenance forward, because every one of these cars has a history that began long before us and will continue long after. We take seriously who gets handed the torch.
Which is why we don't have customers. We have relationships that outlast the four wheels that brought us together.

Why We Exist
Buying a serious car
should not be a gamble.
Anyone who has spent time in this market knows the pattern. A car looks perfect in the photographs. The description is a paragraph long. The history file turns out to be three receipts and a story. By the time you find out what you actually bought, the money has moved and the seller has stopped answering.
We built Mashti Motors to be the opposite of that. Every car we list has been inspected, its numbers checked, and its history read end to end. If a car has needs, they are in the description. If a panel has been repainted, we say so. You will never learn something about one of our cars from your own inspector that we did not already tell you.
The trade-off is that we carry far fewer cars than we could. That is the point.
What We Look For

Provenance
Known ownership, matching numbers where it matters, and paperwork that supports the story. A car without history is a car with a discount coming.

Specification
The right color combination, the right options, the right gearbox. Specification is what separates a car that sells in a week from one that sits for a year.

Condition
Honest, sorted cars. Either genuinely original or properly restored. We would rather sell an unmolested driver than a cosmetic restoration hiding its sins.
The Showroom
Open by appointment.
We keep the cars indoors, climate controlled, and ready to drive, and we show them by appointment in Rancho Santa Fe. Appointments mean the car you came to see is warm, clean, and out front when you arrive, and that you have our full attention rather than a shared afternoon.
We confirm the viewing address when we confirm the appointment.
